The Atomic Morning Miracle

The Not So-Obvious Quantum Paradox Guaranteed to Transform Your Life

About the Book

Publishing August 4th, 2026 | 224 pages | Paperback

You don't need to wake up at 5 a.m. You never did.

The Atomic Morning Miracle is a sharp, funny, and unexpectedly thoughtful satire of productivity culture that turns the modern self-help industry upside down. For decades, we’ve been sold the same promise: wake up earlier, work harder, maximize everything, and happiness will follow. But what if you already have everything you need?

Drawing inspiration from bestsellers like Atomic Habits and The Miracle Morning, the book pokes fun at the relentless pressure to optimize every minute of the day, all while offering readers genuine insights beneath the humor. It toggles between parody and practicality like a philosophical seesaw, and it’s just as much fun.

It works on two levels at once. On the surface, it makes you laugh out loud at our obsession with hacking morning routines, living up to the 10X mindset, and chasing unreachable goals. Underneath, it encourages you to rethink your assumptions about success, identity, and fulfillment.

Learn how to:

  • Replace your to-do list with a To Be List™.
  • Visualize feelings, not outcomes.
  • Open yourself to synchronicity, and you’ll be given everything you need.
  • Laugh at yourself and at the world around you.
  • Trust that everything happens for you, not to you, and allow your anxiety to dissolve.

Guiding you through the journey is actor Scott Bakula, who wrote the foreword and appears throughout the book as a fictionalized version of himself. Yes, THAT Scott Bakula (Star Trek: Enterprise, NCIS: New Orleans). No, really. The actual guy.

The Atomic Morning Miracle is a different kind of self-help book, one that lets you laugh at the pressure to constantly improve while realizing you might not need fixing in the first place.

Whether you’re an individual looking to be more productive or an individual tired of books that teach you how to be more productive, this book will look great on your shelf, especially if you color-coordinate your books and need more in the yellow section.

About the Author

Scott Bloom is a comedian, keynote speaker, and host of the podcast No More Bad Events. A lifelong student of personal growth and comedy, he has spent his career making people laugh while accidentally discovering profound truths. His first book, You CAN Judge a Book by Its Cover, is a collection of faux book covers that left readers wondering if he was putting them on or if he genuinely believes his own ridiculous theories. Scott lives in Los Angeles with his two kids who remain unconvinced that turning quantum physics puns into actual success constitutes a real job (even their dog, Victory, has questions).

This is his second book, though in some timeline, it's his first. Time will tell.
